Youth Group
Youth Group is designed for grades 7 through 12 offering an opportunity to learn about Jesus in close fellowship with one another. We meet every Wednesday evening in the school calendar year from 7:30-9:00pm. Our evenings consist of Bible Study, prayer, games and food. We are a friendly group who welcome visitors with the love of Christ. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (John 10:10b). We take Jesus at His Word and by the pictures below you can see we live it out. When school is in, we hope you will join us on Wednesday's. See you soon! Email us
See You At The Pole (Click for Link)
See You At The Pole is an annual national youth initiative whereby student bodies and teachers gather together to pray for their school, the nation and all aspects of life. It is held before school with everyone circling the flag pole. It is encouraging to know that thousands of students are praying at the same time around our nation.

Located in Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri the weekend sees thousands of youth gather for a time of fun and fellowship. Highlight of the weekend is exposure to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ice Skating (Click for Link)We often take field trips such as skating which has proved to be a huge success in fostering close relationships with one another. Our numbers warrant use of a bus for these outings which proves to be an event in itself. All our youth leaders participate in events which can make for a very amusing day.

New Year's Eve Lock-In
The New Year Lock-In has been an annual event for 3 years now and it has proved to be popular with our youth. This event is an all-niter and not for the faint of heart. The night consists of movies, games of all descriptions and a midnight talk with prayer. Add to this lots of pizza, plenty of good snacks throughout the night, huge amounts of pop and sugar and a full breakfast in the morning and you have a recipe for an awesome night. Do you have what it takes to stay up all night? See you there this year if you dare...

Fall Camp-Out at the Jenkins
Fall Camp Out during late October is an unforgettable experience. Located just 8 miles from Chilhowee we camp in tents in the wilderness. With a roaring camp fire to spin yarns and scary stories we are reminded under the stars of the majesty of God. A midnight walk through the forest with unexpected and scary surprises is a highlight to the night. Be scared...very scared! If you have a sense of adventure this is for you. We encourage you to join Youth Group to learn of this and other events.

Vacation Bible School
VBS 2011
"Big Apple Adventure" was a great success this year. There were 60 children who attended the Friday evening and 60 attended Saturday's program. Sunday was a full day with the VBS family Service, a Fried Chicken Lunch, Giant water slide, smaller water slide, Mule team wagon rides, moonwalk and face painting. Importantly, decisions were made for Christ!

VBS 2010
"Saddle Ridge Ranch" was a great success this year. With 44 children enrolled this year with another 6 in the nursery we had our biggest year ever. Including all volunteers the number involved in this years VBS was over 70. It's not difficult to access that God is at work in the lives of these young people, the lives of our volunteers and the life of CBC.
