How will I know that I am Saved?
Who Goes To Heaven?

Have you ever asked “How will I know if I’m saved?” or "Who goes to heaven?"
If we were to die today, go to the gates of heaven, and God asked "Why should I let you in ?"
What would you say?

Some people will answer:
I am saved “because I was baptized - when I was a baby”
I am saved “because I go to church every week”
I am saved “because I do good, and I serve my community”
I am saved “because I give to charity”
I am saved as “everyone goes to heaven, Don’t they?”

Many give these answers because they honestly believe this is the way to eternal life, and yet many others are just not sure if they are going to heaven. They would like to, but need some direction. Rather then arguing about what is the right or wrong way to eternity, let’s take a look at God’s word, the directions to heaven, the plans he has for you, and help you answer the question - “How will I know if I'm saved?”

ROMAN ROAD TO SALVATION

First we need to acknowledge God:
Romans 1:20-21: For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile
and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Realize all have sinned:
Romans 3:23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

God’s Love:
Romans 5:8: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Sin Equals Death:
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confess and be Saved:
Romans 10:9-10: That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess you are saved.

Call on his Name:
Romans 10:13: for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Glory to God:
Romans 11:36: For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Pray for Salvation:
"Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me and save me by your shed blood;
come into my heart. I want to receive you as my own personal Lord and Savior. Amen"

If you don’t know Jesus in your heart, and you want him in your life, so that you may have eternal life come join us on Sunday mornings, or call our Pastor during office hours or cell phone and let us help you learn why Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Come and receive this FREE Gift God has for you!
